Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 India launch: Xiaomi brings back app challenge
Xiaomi introduced its Mi explorer programme back in January this year. Now, the company has revealed that it will begin taking applications for a new Mi explorer programme ahead of the launch of its next Redmi smartphone, likely be the Redmi Note 4.
The company said that the Mi explorer programme is designed for Mi to perfect the next Redmi device based on extensive user feedback and data. The manufacturer will be selecting hardcore Mi Fans, who will be able to fully experience the next Redmi device through a series of challenging missions designed just for Mi Explorers.
Xiaomi also said that top 5 explorers will receive an ultimate prize.
According to a report in MakTech blog, Xiaomi may launch the successor of Redmi Note 3 smartphone in India. Called Redmi Note 4, the smartphone was launched in China back in August this year. However, it’s not clear if the handset will be launched with the same name in India as well.
In terms of specifications, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Powering the handset is a 2.1GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. It offers 16GB/64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing microSD cards.
