Android user will soon get these two ‘iPhone features’ on WhatsApp

If you are a android user, then you will soon be getting two new awesome features on WhatsApp. These features were ‘iPhone-exclusive’ that means only for WhatsApp User on iPhone but now you will available in android too.

In the latest update of WhatsApp beta for android, this messaging App finally get separate buttons for both voice call and video call. Till now they were hidden under the same button but now user will soon get separate icons. These New Icons are located in the top right side of the app.


Not only this WhatsApp also shifts the attachment icon from top right corner to the bottom (In WhatsApp beta version). The icon for attachments is now placed near the camera icon, next to the message box. The company has also redesigned the bottom bar. Earlier, the bar’s shape resembled a dialogue box, with this update it gets a new capsule-like shape. The camera icon, which sits next to the attachment icon, too has been redesigned.

Currently, theses changes are only in WhatsApp beta version but will be available for all the users very soon.

In the last update WhatsApp introduce a new feature, which allows users to share there pictures, videos or even GIF with everyone which disappear in 24 hours similar to SnapChat stories or Instagram Stories. Jan Koum, CEO and co-founder of WhatsApp, wrote on his blog, “Starting today, we are rolling out an update to status, which allows you to share photos and videos with your friends and contacts on WhatsApp in an easy and secure way. Yes, even your status updates are end-to-end encrypted.”
